Meet the 2009 WMAF Nationals Team!
The WMAF 2009 Nationals Team and some of our team Dads along with Shihan Williams and his children, Sensei Karen and Shidoin Na and her daughter on Sugarloaf Mountain.
WMAF travelled 1200 miles to
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to compete in the 2009 USA National Karate Championships & Team Trials from July 17-19, 2009. This was the team's first year competing in the USA NKF and we are honored to bring home
eight medals,
including two gold, one silver and five bronze. WMAF competitors participated in a wide range of events such as: kata, kumite, kobudo, and elite kata and kumite. Shihan Williams and all of the coaches are very proud of our team's accomplishments and wish them continued success!
